Explosion of a gas pipeline in Dehdasht caused severe burns to two workers

According to the news base HSENK According to ILNA, an explosion caused by a gas leak in a workshop located on North Imam Khomeini Street in Dehdasht severely injured two gas company workers.

The incident occurred while two workers were carrying out cutting and repair operations on the main urban gas pipeline. A sudden gas leak during the work led to an explosion, causing extensive burns to both individuals.

According to medical sources, the injured individuals, identified as Abdipour (33) and Fathi (47), were given immediate emergency care and then transferred to Imam Khomeini Hospital with burns of 55 and 60 percent. They are currently under intensive care.

Reports indicate that expert investigations have begun to determine the exact cause of the gas leak and to assess the extent to which safety standards were observed at the site of the incident. The findings are expected to be announced in the coming days.
