Abadan – A fire incident occurred this morning at Unit 200 of Abadan Petrochemical Company and was successfully contained with no casualties, thanks to the prompt response of emergency teams and the effective implementation of safety and HSE protocols.
According to reports, the fire broke out in one of the cooling fans at Unit 200 at approximately 8:00 a.m. Immediately after the incident, the fire detection and alarm systems were activated, and on-site firefighting and emergency response teams were dispatched to the location. Through coordinated efforts and the use of standard firefighting equipment, the fire was fully extinguished in a short period of time.
Worker Safety and Emergency Response
Fortunately, no injuries were reported among workers or personnel present at the unit. All employees were evacuated to designated safe areas in accordance with emergency evacuation procedures.
