According to the news baseHSENKAccording to ILNA, during a fire incident on the evening of Tuesday, December 3, in the “tube transmitter” unit of the Bushehr Petrochemical Plant, two contract workers were injured while attempting to contain the blaze.

According to the public relations office of Bushehr Petrochemical, the incident occurred due to a leak in the gas‑line tube transmitter. As soon as flames were detected, the fire brigade stationed at the complex intervened and firefighting operations began. During the operation, two contract workers who were working near the leak site were injured. They were immediately transferred to a medical center by the emergency response teams at the site, and their health status continues to be monitored.

Mohammad‑Javad Qobadbeigi stated that after the fire was fully extinguished, operations in the various units of the complex returned to normal, and technical and safety teams are currently completing the safety‑stabilization process and conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of the leak.
