ISFAHAN \u2013 In line with achieving sustainable development goals and enhancing environmental indicators, the provincial campaign \u201cGreen Family, Safe Iran\u201d has officially launched in Isfahan, focusing on the critical pillars of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). This campaign provides a modern framework for instilling HSE culture within the household and maximizing public participation.<\/p>

According to the HSE Management Information Portal, this social initiative\u2014launched under the slogan \u201cEnvironmental Culture, National Participation, Healthy Environment\u201d\u2014emphasizes the fundamental role of the family as the primary hub for education and culture-building in the prevention of environmental hazards. The ultimate objective of this program is to transition from general awareness toward responsible, operational behaviors in preserving national assets.<\/p>

Operational Strategies for Enhancing Community HSE<\/strong><\/p>

The Governor of Isfahan, while inviting the general public to join this widespread movement, highlighted the importance of implementing environmental requirements in daily life. He emphasized, \u201cResource management (water and energy), proper waste segregation at the source\u2014as a cornerstone of environmental hygiene\u2014the reduction of single-use plastics, and the prevention of littering in nature are not merely moral duties, but safety imperatives for preserving public health and ensuring a secure future for generations to come.\u201d<\/p>

Transforming the Family into an HSE Education Hub<\/strong><\/p>

Maryam Kermani, Acting Head of the Isfahan Provincial Department of Environment, described the family\u2019s position in the societal HSE management hierarchy as strategic. She stated, \u201cThe \u2018Green Family, Safe Iran\u2019 campaign is designed to transform every household into a specialized environmental education hub. Through the \u2018Iranian Green Covenant,\u2019 families pledge to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyles, acting as proactive contributors within the nation\u2019s environmental protection chain.\u201d<\/p>

She further encouraged citizens to document their successful initiatives\u2014such as effective waste management, resource conservation, and biodiversity preservation\u2014through various media formats (photos, reports, and narratives) and share them with the community.<\/p>

Call for Organizational and Public Synergy<\/strong><\/p>

The Isfahan Department of Environment has called on all stakeholders, including executive bodies, municipalities, NGOs, and cultural and artistic activists, to maximize synergy in promoting environmental responsibility.<\/p>
